Registration now open for BTHA AGM and Industry Day

Published on: 23rd March 2023

Speaking at this year’s Industry Day will be Polar Explorer Ann Daniels, who will be joined by Amanda Myatt of KPMG.

This year’s guest speakers are polar adventurer Ann Daniels (top) and Amanda Myatt from KPMG.

The BTHA has confirmed that the Polar explorer will be a keynote speaker at this year’s Toy Industry Day, taking place on Wednesday 28th June at Great Fosters Hotel, Egham, Surrey, and ticket registration is open now.

Ann is the first woman in history, along with teammate Caroline Hamilton, to reach the North Pole and the South Pole as members of all-women teams. Ann is among the very few people in the world who have walked to both the North and South Geographical poles.

Alongside Ann, there will also be a presentation from Amanda Myatt of KPMG, who will be discussing the current retail climate. In addition to the fantastic keynote speakers, the Toy Industry Day includes an introduction from the BTHA chairman and an update from The Toy Trust. The day provides an unrivalled opportunity to network with industry peers in a fantastic setting, with refreshment breaks including tea/coffee/soft drinks and pastries, followed by a hot buffet lunch.

The Industry Day will take place from 10:15, after the BTHA AGM which will start at 9:30, and the day is expected to wind up by 3pm.

Tickets are priced at £51 + VAT, with subsequent tickets £25.75 + VAT. There is limited capacity at the venue, so interested parties are advised to register early. The allocation of tickets will take place at the beginning of May.
