Sambro extends Love & Hugs portfolio with beauty range

Published on: 4th November 2022

The new Love & Hugs creative toy beauty range and pamper sets from Sambro successfully re-launched earlier this year with stand-out new products.

Sambro International, the award-winning global supplier of licensed and own brand products has designed and produced the impactful and value-added toy range under the Love & Hugs branding, to complement its licensed toy portfolio. The range comprises more than 20 trend-led and classic toys with best-sellers including the Make Up Tutorial Kit, with selfie light phone stand; DIY Bath Bomb Maker; Nail Studio; Hair Beader and Pedi & Mani Kit.

Launched in 2019, Love & Hugs became one of Sambro’s fastest-selling own brand ranges. In 2022, following investment in extensive consumer research with Trinity McQueen, the range underwent a brand refresh. This investment ensures that the brand continues to leverage current trends in creative and interactive play and has increased appeal among children and parents.

Ed Whieldon, head of Buying & Sourcing, Sambro said: “A key part of our growth strategy as a business, is the investment in and development of our own IP brands, including Love & Hugs which successfully re-launched earlier this year with some stand-out new products.”

Sambro has increased its number of product listings for the range, meeting increased consumer demand for creative themed toys. With strong listings, Sambro will further promote the Love & Hugs range at retail with point of sale support and a dedicated social marketing strategy. This will utilize paid influencers and organic tactics to increase consumer awareness and drive consumer demand.

“Reaction from retailers so far has been fantastic and we are seeing increased consumer demand for these types of products which really tap into the latest beauty and TikTok trends. We’re excited to see what’s to come for Love & Hugs both in the UK & EU over the next 12 months and beyond.” added Ed.
