The educational toy company Smart Toys and Games is challenging families to ‘play Smart’ in 2024 by engaging in mindful play.
SmartGames, a worldwide leader in multi-level logic games, is encouraging families to practise mindfulness through play. Thanks to the brand’s multi award-winning collection of fun and educational puzzle games, board games and fidget toys, all ages – from 1 to 99 – can add a dose of mindful play to everyday.
With an ever-growing awareness of the benefits of mindfulness, Smart has applied serious thought to some of its recent launches, designing games that will encourage a moment of calm in each day as players focus their minds and tackle each challenge.
Introducing a fresh way to practice mindfulness, Smart’s new launches engage children and adults alike:
- Criss Cross Cube inspires players aged eight and over to prove they’re the sharpest tool in the box by solving the 80 different challenges. The aim of the game is to fit all 13 screws completely into the transparent cube, without them blocking each other.
- Tower Stacks challenges players to build a vertical castle using nine puzzle pieces. Starting from the floor, they must use their planning skills to stack the pieces and solve the 80 challenges, which range in difficulty from easy to expert.
- IQ Mini Hexpert is new to the popular IQ range. This IQ Mini challenge Is a pocket-size puzzle buster on a hexagonal game board small enough to fit in a pocket or bag. Players can create their own challenges by moving the blockers and filling the board with their puzzle pieces.
Karen Clarke, brand director at Smart Toys and Games, said: “We are so pleased to try and help families to practice mindfulness through play. Thanks to the engaging game mechanics, all our products help to stimulate a variety of cognitive skills from as young as one year old – but also bring joy and a true sense of achievement through play. With multiple challenges to complete, little ones will be entertained and focused for hours and won’t have to think about going on any phones or tablets. It’s a win win.”
