The 2021 Toy Trust Media Auction is open for bids

Published on: 21st January 2021

The 2021 Toy Trust Media Auction is now open and ready for bids and will close at 3pm on Friday 29th January.

As the second largest fundraising activity for the Toy Trust each year, the annual Media Auction, which traditionally takes place during London Toy Fair, is a classic win, win scenario for all. Not only can companies bag themselves a real media bargain, but all funds raised go to help small UK children’s charities that the Toy Trust has chosen to support in 2021. Bidders have until the end of next week to try their luck at winning.

Airtime media spots have been generously donated from leading broadcasters and media channels. The result is a fantastic £80,000 of media space to bid for. Lots have been received from Sky, Nickelodeon, Turner, CITV, ITV Breakfast, Five (Milkshake), SuperAwesome, Ketchup TV, Yaaas TV and Diversity Media.  Details of each individual lot can be viewed on the Toy Trust Media Auction page, which will be updated at intervals with the current highest bids.

Last year’s annual auction raised a fantastic £105,000 during Toy Fair 2020, the second largest total ever. This year, with no physical Toy Fair taking place, the Toy Trust says it has adjusted expectations for fundraising totals with a partially scaled back auction, but is still hoping that the toy trade will support this year’s fundraising with its traditional generosity.

Graham Canning, Toy Trust Committee chairman commented: “On behalf of the Toy Trust committee, I’d like to thank all our media partners for their generous donations.  Without them we would not be able to support so many causes that directly benefit children. I’d also like to give special thanks to Arena Azure’s Jeff Taylor for his dedication in helping us creating another superb list to bid on.”

If you have any questions or would like more information on any of the packages available, or wish to make a bid for one or more of the Media Auction lots, please email Matt@btha.co.uk or place your bids by clicking the “bid now” boxes on the live auction page here.
