The Entertainer opens its Letters to Santa workshop

Published on: 10th November 2022

Kids are being invited to call into The Entertainer stores and pen the perfect letter to Santa with the help of festive elves.

The Letters to Santa workshop returned on 5th November and will also be running from 11am to 3pm on 12th and 19th November, giving children of all ages the chance to meet Santa’s elves, who will help add a touch of sparkle to their Christmas wish lists ahead of the big day.

Supporting children across the UK to craft special letters to Father Christmas, Santa’s elves will provide each child with a North Pole-approved worksheet to help create their unique letter and, once written, the letters will travel to the North Pole, where Santa will send a personal reply to every child.

Last year more than 12,000 children took part in The Entertainer’s Letters to Santa workshop in 2021.

Craig Lowe, events coordinator at The Entertainer, commented: “We are delighted to be hosting our Letters to Santa workshops once again this year, helping to create a memorable day out for all this Christmas.

“The workshops are fantastic for children as they not only help with developing important letter writing skills, but also provide plenty of festive fun. Our elves will be all set to spread festive cheer and help little ones write the perfect letter for Santa.”

The Entertainer recently announced that it has once again teamed up with church and charity The Salvation Army to launch The Big Toy Appeal, an initiative that aims to give as many underprivileged children as possible the joy of opening a gift on Christmas Day.

The Appeal, which runs until Wednesday 30th November, encourages customers to pick up an extra toy when they visit The Entertainer in-store or online, with the retailer also contributing a toy for every gift donated, doubling the number of donations that will go towards families in need of support this Christmas.
