The fast-growing creative studio Toikido has expanded its commercial team with the appointment of experienced International Licensing director, Sabrina Segalov. Sabrina will be working alongside chief commercial officer Will Ochoa and US managing director Darryl Lai.

Established in 2020, Toikido boasts a global ecosystem across licensing, gaming, music, marketing and entertainment and is dedicated to developing its own exceptional intellectual properties across all entertainment genres.

With an impressive background in licensing roles for household names Marvel and 20th Century Fox Film, Sabrina joins the Toikido team from Sanrio Global and will leverage her expertise across brand licensing and marketing strategy to play a fundamental role in securing new licensing partners for Toikido’s fast-evolving licensing business.

This news follows the early success of Toikido’s first in-house IP, Pinata Smashlings, and forthcoming launch of its second IP, PeaKeeBoo, an exciting new animation series for pre-school children and their families announced in early December 2023.

Will Ochoa, chief commercial officer at Toikido, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Sabrina to the Toikido team. Her cross-category experience within licensing, combined with a proven track record of fostering growth across diverse retail landscapes both in the UK and globally, is hugely impressive. We eagerly anticipate her leveraging this wealth of experience with our expanding portfolio of gaming and entertainment IPs, propelling Toikido’s ambitious growth trajectory forward.”

Sabrina added: “I am thrilled to embark on this incredible journey with the Toikido team, an opportunity to contribute to its remarkable portfolio of brands. With exciting new IP set to launch soon, I look forward to being a driving force in the continued growth of Toikido, a company that has flourished since its inception in 2020.”
