Toynamics launches Hape Green Planet Explorers

Published on: 27th September 2022

Green Planet Explorers, a Hape sub-brand, is designed to teach kids about sustainability and is made from eco-friendly materials.

Toynamics UK & Ireland is pleased to announce the launch of a new eco range, Hape Green Planet Explorers, which offers role-play products made entirely from sustainable materials – wood, plant plastic (made from sugar cane) and bamboo. Highlights include the Hape Green Planet Explorers Panda Bamboo House and Hape Green Planet Explorers Tiger Jungle House. Both play sets come with Explorer characters, each with a unique personality, and lots of accessories. For 2023, more characters and sets are in the pipeline as well as extensive marketing and media support.

Hape Green Planet Explorer toys encourage children from three years plus to create their own playful adventures and stories about protecting the planet, and offer parents a fun way to talk to their child about sustainability from a young age. For example, the Panda Bamboo House features solar panels on its roof and the Tiger Jungle House comes with 18 ‘rubbish’ cards, helping children learn about recycling as they sort rubbish into the correct recycling slot.

David Allan, MD at Toynamics UK & Ireland, commented: “Green Planet Explorers boosts our sustainability credentials and comes hot on the heels of us adding Korko to our brand portfolio. Consumer demand for sustainable toys, along with our great standing with consumers, is continuing to add to our sales growth.”

To support the range at launch, Toynamics will be producing sustainability education materials for children, including short video stories featuring the play sets and characters, and activity sheets which will be available to retailers. Stockists will also have access to graphic packs and free stock for competitions on their social platforms once marketing is launched.
