Toys4You Sutton Coldfield becomes Toymaster member

Published on: 11th August 2022

The co-owners of Toys4you have capitalised on the return of shoppers to the high street with a wide range of toys and games.

Toys4youToys4you opened its first retail outlet earlier this year. The business started two years ago, just before the pandemic struck, as an online-only store, selling on Amazon and eBay. The new Sutton outlet opened just as customers began to return to the high street following pandemic lockdowns, after the owners negotiated a lease with the Gracechurch Centre.

Co-owner Usman Ahmed said: “People want to come out and physically touch and feel the products before buying, and we think there is pent up demand after the pandemic to go to shops. People are coming back to high streets – they want to come out and have that shopping experience.”

Toys4You is located at 66 Gracechurch Shopping Centre, The Parade, Sutton Coldfield B72 1PD. Owners Usman Ali and Mehak Rauf can be contacted on 0121 769 1501 or

The Toymaster team said: “We would like to welcome Toys4You to the Toymaster family and wish Usman, Mehak and their team the best of luck.”

Toymaster is the largest buying group for independent toy retailers in the UK & Ireland, operating as a mutuality: the group is wholly owned by the members, who are all shareholders. As a not-for-profit, Toymaster gives back to its members, with the most recent sum making its way back into the pockets of Toymaster retailers in April. The group’s mission statement is a simple one – ‘To Help Our Members Trade More Profitably’ – and the group has earned itself a reputation for being both exceptionally friendly and committed to offering the very best support to its members
