Smoby returns to Gloworm Festival

Published on: 12th April 2024

Smoby has returned to the Gloworm Festival for a third year, bringing back the Smoby Play Zone to entertain families.

Gloworm Festival has announced the return of Smoby for the third consecutive year. Smoby is set to make the festival experience even better by bringing back its exciting and interactive Smoby Play Zone to delight families.

Gloworm takes place from 16th-18th August 2024 at its new location, Holme Pierrepont Country Park, Nottinghamshire.

Richard Walpole, festival director at Gloworm Events, said: “We are incredibly excited to be partnering with Smoby for the third year running. Over the last few years, the Smoby Play Zone has grown into an incredibly immersive and popular space which aligns with our ethos of celebrating outdoor, safe play. This summer, we strongly encourage our festival goers to pop along to the Smoby Play Zone to enjoy the brilliantly fun playhouses on offer, zoom down some of the awesome slides and have a splash about with the fabulous AquaPlay sets.”

Sophie Bryan, brand manager, Smoby UK, said: “We are thrilled to be attending Gloworm once again this year. This is, without doubt, a highlight of the year for us, and an opportunity to see families in their masses enjoying the brand exactly as it should be with the free, unprescribed play that kids just thrive in. We are also really looking forward to seeing the new venue at Holme Pierrepont and hope to engage even more families who may not have had the opportunity to see the Smoby Play Zone before.”

Gloworm Festival is an event for families with children aged 0-14. At its new home, Holme Pierrepont Country Park, the festival invites grown-ups and children to enjoy a whole weekend of family fun and entertainment.

This year’s line-up is already announced, including performances from N-Trance, Andy Day, Noasis, Maddie Moate and many more. Families will also be able to meet and greet some of their favourite characters, like Bodger and Badger, Mr Blobby, Elmer and Bing and Flop.
