Hasbro Gaming teams up with Jay’s Virtual Pub Quiz

Published on: 9th June 2020

Jay Flynn started the quiz after his pub shuttered as a result of Covid-19, to bring people together and raise money.

Hasbro Gaming has partnered with Jay’s Virtual Pub Quiz to offer online players a special kids vs adults Trivial Pursuit Family edition themed round. The virtual quiz, which took place on 4th June, had over 213,000 players, with all proceeds going to The Diana Award, the UK’s leading anti-bullying charity.

Jay started the online quiz as a simple way to bring people together and have some fun. To date, the quiz has entertained millions in their living rooms every Thursday and Saturday night and so far, has raised over £400,000 for the NHS, Alzheimer’s Research UK and Connection Homeless.

“We were thrilled to team up with Jay’s Virtual Quiz and offer players a unique Trivial Pursuit Family edition themed round,” said Louisa Parast, marketing director at Hasbro UK and Ireland. “This week was also special as youth charity The Diana Award joined forces with the virtual quiz, meaning the activity didn’t only bring fun to players but also raised funds and awareness for a fantastic cause.”

Jay added: “We were delighted to collaborate with Trivial Pursuit Family Edition from Hasbro Gaming for last week’s quiz to celebrate our first youth charity choice. It was also great to be able to offer players the chance to win their very own copy of Trivial Pursuit Family Edition to add even more fun to the virtual event.”
