Opportunity for UK companies to join HKTDC Autumn Sourcing Week online

The Autumn Sourcing virtual event is being organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

Autumn Sourcing Week online

To address the absence of physical toy fairs in the coming months, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council will be running Autumn Sourcing Week online. The Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, which traditionally organises the UK Pavilion at the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair in January, is getting involved in the event with a virtual UK pavilion.

Having successfully delivered a summer session earlier this year, the HKTDC has now turned its focus to the autumn event, which will cover Toys, Games, Baby Products, Gifts and Stationery.

The event will run from 16th – 27th November, with the added benefit of having a three month complementary presence on the hktdc.com Sourcing Platform.

Exhibitors will be able to gain access to potential new buyers through ‘Click2Match’, join a face to face business matching networking event in Guangdong and access the Intelligence Hub, which offers the latest information on market trends and business opportunities.

The standard cost to an exhibitor is US$1,300. However, to encourage more UK companies to participate, the HKTDC will be subsidising the cost of exhibiting, so that UK companies can be part of this initiative for US$660.

Companies wanting to take part can register as either a buyer or an exhibitor by contacting Stuart Whitehill by email stuart@overseasfairs.co.uk or by calling 01564 784999 or 07811 402017.
