The family owned and run company is dedicated to growing its business in the sustainable toy and gift market and decided to complement its existing brands by adding arts and crafts into the mix.

“Fun2Give approached us to distribute the brand in the UK, as they recognised our focus on sustainability in the toy and games market, and we agreed that it would fit perfectly into our product portfolio,” explained Inside Out Toys MD, Julian Garner.

ReCycleMe is one of a number of brands created by Fun2Give – a Dutch company which believes in a world where children and their parents can become more aware of the amount of rubbish they produce, and a world where children can help to reduce this, by recycling or re-using. The concept of the brand is to provide a complete kit for creating art projects at home, using everyday household rubbish, like toilet roll tubes, plastic bottles, cans and egg boxes.

Arco de Leeuw, owner of Fun2Give, commented: “We created ReCycleMe because we understand that waste, and how we choose to handle it, affects our planet. We want every kid to feel empowered and learn to create new toys with disposables that they can find at home.”

The Fun2Give factory is BSCI certified, and all products comply with European Toy Safety standards. All packaging is made from FSC material, and the models made from the kits are recyclable.

Inside Out Toys already distributes two brands of wooden toys; Jumini, its own brand of brightly coloured wooden toys, and Studio Circus, a collection of pastel coloured wooden toys, designed in the Netherlands. Over recent months, the company has also announced new partnerships with Tikiri Toys, Viking Toys and Tactic Games, expanding its selection of sustainable brands.

Established in 2012 by Julian Garner and his wife Nikki, Inside Out Toys employs a small, dedicated team at its premises in Milton Keynes. The company supports as many charities as it can each year, including donations of toys to Barnardo’sNorthamptonshire Health Charity and Giving World.
