Generation Media is hosting its annual children’s conference KidsCon on the big screen in Leicester Square’s Vue Cinema on Thursday, 4th May.
The event aims to help raise funds to support the Toy Trust’s May Mayhem initiative, whereby members of the toy industry have been challenged to carry out an entire month of fundraising.
The industry-wide conference, titled Mind the Gap, will play host to an array of internal and external speakers, as well as a panel of thought leaders in the children’s advertising space. Discussions will centre around how brands can bridge the coverage gap left by declines in linear TV, providing new and effective opportunities to engage with children and families.
Dean Weller, CEO of Generation Media, commented: “We are delighted to announce the return of KidsCon after last year’s successful conference. We have an exciting line-up of guest speakers and of course the latest insights and thinking from our expert teams. It will be a morning not to be missed.”
Tickets cost £50 per person, with all proceeds going to UK-based children’s charity, The Toy Trust, and include access to a drinks reception at a nearby rooftop venue.
