International toy supplier Beysal completed a deal to acquire DKL Marketing in October 2019, and this month the companies celebrate their one year anniversary as DKL-Beysal.

Terry Crew, managing director, commented: “Despite the difficult circumstances this year has brought, we are delighted with the success of our first year and are looking forward to 2021. We will continue to drive our existing brands whilst introducing many more exciting lines.”

The acquisition saw DKL-Beysal continue to support, develop and distribute the ranges that DKL firmly established in the UK market – Hama Beads, Breyer and Plus-Plus.

Creative construction toy company Plus-Plus has entered into an agreement to ensure that 100% of the electricity used in its factory and headquarters is covered by wind energy.

All Plus-Plus is produced at the factory in Holbæk, Denmark. The factory and headquarters uses 100% green energy from wind power and has a no waste production – all excess plastic is re-ground and used as material for Plus-Plus. Other key sustainable initiatives from Plus-Plus include its 100% recyclable product and packaging; produced from food approved PE, and Plus-Plus Tubes are produced from food approved PETG.

Plus-Plus has a unique design in one shape and two sizes that can interlock with other Plus-Plus pieces that are identical to it. From a single repeated element, kids can create anything they imagine, both in 2D and 3D. It makes a perfect educational toy that stimulates fine motor skills, creativity, focus and patience.

DKL-Beysal support all its ranges with a full marketing campaign, including everything from online support including videos and social media to extensive PR activity. The company is ready to expand and grow the business further, whilst introducing products developed by Beysal into its 2021 portfolio.
