Little Tikes Plays Big for 50th anniversary

Published on: 20th March 2019

The Little Tikes HQ was transformed into a play zone to kick off the company’s 50th birthday celebrations.

The headquarters were transformed from office into a creative Play Big space as the brand invited everyone at MGA Entertainment to join in the party. A giant Little Tikes slide was set up to propel the team into a ball pool containing over 67,000 thousand balls, iconic adult sized Cozy Coupes were used to travel around the office for the day, and there was even a huge 50th birthday cake to further sweeten the day.

To celebrate its momentous year in the industry, and applaud its milestone birthday, Little Tikes was keen to engage, excite and involve everyone at MGA. The party planning was undertaken by a small team to ensure the surprise was kept under wraps, with the wider team receiving an invitation to Play Big in the company boardroom on the morning of the party.

Little Tikes has recently launched its new Play Big campaign, which celebrates 50 years of the brand and focuses on getting consumers hands-on with Little Tikes and its wide range of products.

Michelle Lilley, head of marketing for Little Tikes UK, said: “It was important for us to throw our Play Big party and to engage the whole MGA team. It’s been a busy start to the year for Little Tikes as we have been working on our 50th birthday celebrations – what better way to mark the occasion than by throwing a huge party. Play Big is central to everything we’re doing this year, and it will continue for many years to come. We want parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, guardians and of course children to play big and make new memories.”
