LICENSING NEWS

Have you seen the Toy World November Frozen II feature?

Published on: 6th November 2019

The 24-page feature contains everything you need to know about Disney’s upcoming movie and the licensed products available.

Disney’s Frozen II is set for release on 22nd November, almost six years to the day since the first movie premiered in the USA in 2013.

To celebrate the highly-anticipated cinema debut, the Toy World team decided it would present readers of the November issue – which started landing on desks and on doormats on 30th September – with an in-depth look at what’s in store for Frozen fans, both from the film and the accompanying licensed toys, games, role-play accessories and arts & crafts products. And the resulting feature is so impressive, we just can’t Let It Go without a proper mention. (We know…)

Spread across 24 pages, this bumper section contains a wealth of information for buyers, retailers and decision makers everywhere. Advertisers including Flair, Lego, Jakks, Funko, Moose, Amscan, MV Sports, Stor, Pioneer, Cartamundi, Sambro and Rubie’s are joined by a number of other licensees, all presenting the newest Frozen II products hitting shelves this winter.

We also discuss the history and huge success of the Frozen franchise to date, and spoke to key figures in toy retail including The Entertainer’s Stuart Grant, Brian Simpson from SMF Toytown and Stephen Buschaus from Toy Barnhaus for their opinions on the new product lines, and information on how each is approaching the property in-store. Finally, Claire Terry, Disney consumer products general manager UK, spoke to Toy World about the studio’s hopes for the film upon its release.
