Published on: 8th November 2019

The Entertainer is coming to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre in Macclesfield on the 30th November.

The Entertainer has announced its latest store opening in the Cheshire town of Macclesfield. Taking a 3608 square foot store in The Grosvenor Centre, this will be the retailer’s 9th opening of 2019, bringing the chain’s total to 171 stores across the country.

The grand opening will be held on Saturday 30th November, with a day of fun and games for shoppers to get involved with ahead of the town’s Christmas light switch on.

There will be a ribbon-cutting taking place at 8:45am with councillor Janet Jackson MBE, the town’s mayor, ahead of the store’s 9am opening. The first 20 families through the doors will receive a lucky dip gift card ranging from £5-£10.

Lego Batman will be making a special appearance and children will be able to take part in several giveaways and competitions and enjoy balloon modelling and in-store demos, as well as meet The Entertainer’s very own mascot, Jack.

Craig Lowe, events coordinator at The Entertainer said: “We are really looking forward to The Entertainer’s Grand Opening event at Macclesfield. It’ll be great for the children to meet some of their favourite life-sized characters and to enjoy our exciting new store.”
