The Entertainer to hold Quiet Hour

Published on: 15th February 2018

The retailer is holding the event to facilitate a more comfortable play experience for autistic children.

The Entertainer is holding a quiet hour each day in all its UK stores this half term to create a more calming environment for children with autism.

Until Friday 23rd February, The Entertainer will be switching off the in-store music for the first hour after opening, to help create a calming, less daunting environment for children with autism.

Gary Grant, founder and managing director of The Entertainer, commented: “We always strive to make our stores a happy place for people to visit, and for some time we have been exploring ways in which we can make The Entertainer a more comfortable place for autistic children. The Entertainer is somewhere for children to explore their imagination and become inspired by all of the toys available and so we hope by introducing our Quiet Hour, more families will feel confident when it comes to shopping with us.”

The Entertainer’s quiet hour is being held across half term in all 145 stores. For more information about The Entertainer and for individual store opening hours, please visit www.TheToyShop.com.
