Over 20 years since the original movie debuted, Pixar has announced that Toy Story 4 will appear in cinemas on 21st June 2019.

Pixar took to social media to unveil the news, posting this image to Twitter.

Disney Pixar Animations has confirmed the details of Toy Story 4’s release. The adventures of Woody and Buzz will be back on the big screen on 21st June 2019. The fourth instalment of the franchise comes more than two decades after the original Toy Story, which was released in 1995.

The American animation company took to Facebook on Friday to reveal the news, sharing a picture of post-it notes which had been shaped into a number four in the colours of the film’s logo.

They captioned the picture ‘Reach for the post-it! Toy Story 4 comes to theatres on June 21, 2019,’ followed by a celebration emoji.

For fans of the film looking for some Toy Story action a little sooner, Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World in Florida is set to open on 30th June this year. Visitors to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feel as though they are setting foot in Andy’s garden. Oversized versions of Woody, Buzz, Jessie and Slinky Dog will welcome fans of the film franchise, and there will also be giant building blocks, game board pieces and more in the 11-acre expansion.

Toy Story Land will include two new attractions and one expanded favorite, with Slinky Dog Dash, a family rollercoaster inspired by the pooch spinoff of Slinky, as the main attraction.
