The Entertainer selects new click & collect partner

Published on: 15th November 2018

The UK’s fastest growing, independently owned multi-channel retailer in the UK has selected Doddle.

The new partnership means that the 1m customers who buy from The Entertainer’s online shop each year will now have the option to collect and return their parcels for free at any one of Doddle’s 500 + locations across the UK, including hundreds of Debenhams and Morrisons stores nationwide.

Previously, The Entertainer’s online customers could only have parcels delivered direct to their home address or collect or return them at one of the brand’s 148 high street and shopping centre stores.

During the busy run up to peak, over which time 60% of The Entertainer’s total annual purchases are made, the new partnership will significantly increase customers’ choice of pick up and drop off locations, whilst also increasing the convenience of The Entertainer’s offering with over half of Doddle locations open by 7am and only closing at 10pm.

The Entertainer will be Doddle’s first toy partner and joins over 50 of the UK’s top retail brands as Doddle partners including Amazon, Asos, New Look, Wiggle and Missguided.

Rob Wood, head of online at The Entertainer, commented: “Buying toys is always more than a functional experience. It’s associated with excitement and fun, so we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to make it an enjoyable journey each and every time. Partnering with Doddle was a natural choice for us. Its focus on customer service fits well with our ethos and its rapidly growing network gives our customers the choice of collection and return points across the country, all with long hours, that work brilliantly for busy mums, dads and grandparents.”
