Pioneer announces the largest free virtual balloon convention in history

Published on: 24th March 2020

The convention will be hosted on the Q Corner YouTube channel and will be accessible for five days.

Pioneer Balloon Company, manufacturers of Qualatex and Northstar balloons, has announced that it will be hosting the world’s largest virtual balloon convention, starting at midnight (GMT) Monday 30th March and running 24 hours a day for five days.

The convention, which will be hosted on the Q Corner YouTube channel, consists of 100 segments across the week – accessible any time of the day or night, wherever you are in the world – and it’s free to join.

Hosted by regular Q Corner hosts, Dominic Cassidy and Keith Stirman, the event will involve instructors and influencers from all over the globe presenting a vast array of tutorials. There are 54 instructors from 20 countries already confirmed and more are being added every day.

Full details can be found on the Q Corner Convention webpage found here.

Julie Dommett, head of marketing, Pioneer Europe said: “As many education classes across Europe have had to be postponed, we are delighted to be launching this online convention. It’s a great way for the balloon community to keep in contact, learn new skills, and keep spirits up in these challenging times.”

Dom and Keith, Q Corner hosts, added: “We have a huge amount of content pouring in from inspirational balloon artists all over the globe; from amazing design ideas and new techniques through to business workshops and social media masterclasses. There will be competitions and quizzes with great prizes to be won and live online sessions too, it’s going to be great.”

To take part, subscribe to the Q Corner channel and tune in between midnight (GMT) Monday 30th March and midnight Friday April 3rd.
