Toy Trust Activity Day 2020 cancelled

Published on: 25th March 2020

The Toy Trust plans to launch a newly re-invigorated event for the industry to get involved in for 2021.

Following the unprecedented effects that coronavirus is having globally, as well as on the UK toy industry, the Toy Trust has taken the difficult decision to cancel the Toy Trust Activity Day which was planned for Saturday 6th June 2020,  at Oxford Wet n’ Wild, Wallingford Oxfordshire.

Whilst acknowledging that this is a very unfortunate situation, the safety and health of the individuals and participants that take part in the event is the primary concern of the Toy Trust, and the organisation has decided that a mass participation event such as the Toy Trust Activity Day is simply untenable in the current circumstances.

Following the decision to cancel this year’s event, the Toy Trust plans to launch a newly re-invigorated event for the industry to get involved in 2021, which it is hoped will provide an opportunity for the industry to come together for a great cause once this time of adversity has passed. Plans for 2021 events will follow in due course.
