Diaframma goes green

Published on: 10th June 2020

Diaframma celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June with new upgrades to its office.

Diaframma, the specialist kids and family marketing agency, has announced its latest steps to become an environmentally friendly company. Making the most of the coronavirus lockdowns and quieter office, the company has made a number of changes to its lighting and electricity sources which should considerably lower its carbon footprint, including the installation of new bulbs and a state of the art solar panel setup.

In a post on LinkedIn, the company stated: “Young, Dynamic, Responsible. These are our agency’s greatest strengths, and from today we are proud to add: Eco Friendly. We have embarked on a path aimed to improve and help save the future of our planet; thanks to our new fully equipped LED lighting system and solar panel roof, we will be able to auto produce energy up to 50KW. We are ready to reopen, restart and work responsibly with a smaller carbon footprint.”

Speaking to Toy World, managing director Duccio Abolaffio said: “Diaframma is a very young company, and all of the staff – including myself – share the same values when it comes to conducting the business in ways that are good for people and good for the planet. In 2018, we started transitioning all of our office and studio lights; all those power-hungry tungsten bulbs were replaced with modern and environmentally friendly LEDs. We’re constantly trying to find alternatives to plastic in our daily office life and when we are planning and designing shoots. Now, thanks to the installation of our brand new 50KW solar panel system, we are above a 90% energy saving rate. The internal joke now is that we are saving the world one commercial at a time.”
