Kap Toys debuts new Harry Potter collectible line

Published on: 25th June 2020

Available for immediate shipment, the Magical Capsules range has already hit the No.1 spot in Spain and demand is expected to be high.

Kap Toys, the company more commonly known as Kids@Play, has started to ship its latest Harry Potter product line from YuMe Toys.

The Magical Capsules range offers a new way for Harry Potter fans to unbox and collect the characters of the Wizarding World. The experience begins by attempting to decipher the clues hidden inside the top of each Hogwarts crest-shaped container, which hint at the character contained within. Collectors can then open each of the easily-recyclable paper blind-bags to reveal surprises including a magical pet and accessories such as a wand, schoolbooks or a cauldron, before finally unveiling the witch or wizard they’ll be adding to their collection. The launch wave offers 10 characters to collect, including one Rare character.

A video demonstrating the unboxing experience can be viewed below.

Nathaniel Southworth, managing director of Kap Toys, said: “Successfully previewed to the trade in January, we made a conscious decision to hold the launch back until lockdown began to ease. Now that many of our customers are allowed to return to trading, we feel it’s an appropriate time to offer this fantastic new product to all retailers. Our delay meant Spain launched ahead of us in the UK & Ireland, where the Magical Capsules achieved a No. 1 spot on Amazon, and now we want all retailers to see success with this range. Series 1 is available for immediate shipment in CDUs of 12 and FSDUs of 60, with an SRP of £9.99. The range is already gaining traction on social media and we’re currently fielding calls from the press for samples.”

Kap Toys recently moved from two sites in Wales to a single site in North Yorkshire. The new address is Kap Toys Ltd., Unit 14, Rudgate Business Park, Tockwith, North Yorkshire, YO26 7RD.

All order enquiries should be emailed through to orders@kaptoys.com.
