Tomy launches Lamaze My First Garden Collection

Published on: 1st March 2021

The My First Garden Collection from Lamaze features five characters to help babies’ development and support healthy eating messages.

Tying into the ever-increasing trend of healthy eating, Lamaze toys has launched the latest, brand-new collection in its portfolio for SS21 – the My First Garden Collection. Created to help encourage little ones to learn and grow through play, the collection features a range of five products aimed to strengthen a baby’s fine motor skills, problem solving and visual development.

The characters include Candy the Carrot, Bea the Banana, the Bitty Bug Book, Archer the Apple and Olive the Orange. The varied colours, textures and sounds have been thoughtfully designed to keep babies curious, with plenty of surprises along the way.

Claire Ridley, head of Marketing at Tomy, said: “2020 was a very successful year for the Lamaze brand, with a 14% growth. At what was a difficult time, we saw consumers opting for brands they knew and trusted for added piece of mind.”

With peek-a-boo fun features, the clip and go My First Garden Collection characters are perfect for on-the-go, and are competitively priced from just £7.99 for hero item, Candy the Carrot.

“We hope the brand new My First Garden Collection proves as popular as our bestselling Freddie the Firefly range which delivered its best year ever in 2020 with £1.5m sold,” added Claire. “With the very cute characters and additional features to help capture baby’s attention, we’re confident that this new range can become just as iconic.”

Suitable from birth, stock of all the characters is available now. The Bitty Bug Book, which is suitable for six months plus, is also available. For more information, see the Tomy website, or retailers can contact customer services.
