Yoto and Ameet partner on new Lego Duplo packs

Published on: 23rd April 2021

The Yoto x Lego Duplo range of cards will blend Yoto’s passion for mixing education and learning through interactive storytelling with the Lego Duplo brand.

Yoto, the audio platform for kids behind the award-winning Yoto Player, has announced a partnership with Ameet Publishing. The global partnership will see Yoto and Ameet co-create six new audio card packs to complement its well-established Lego Duplo range, which will be available from June.

The Lego Duplo range of Yoto Cards will allow early learners to enjoy themes ranging from animals and shapes to mindfulness, using colourful Duplo bricks to increase their imagination and motor skills. The Yoto Player is a screen-free, camera- and microphone-free connected speaker designed specifically for the use of children from 3-12 years old, to safely control their listening by entertaining and educating them while reducing screen-time.

Ben Drury, CEO and co-founder of Yoto, said: “Allowing children to increase their creativity and imagination through play and storytelling is incredibly important for us at Yoto, so working with a like-minded company with the same core values as Ameet and the Lego Group was a no brainer for us. This partnership is hugely exciting, with lots more to come, so watch this space.”

Dan Shepherd, international sales and marketing director from Ameet, added: “The Yoto cards will bring Duplo stories, learning and play to modern families through immersive audio experiences that encourage creativity and storytelling whilst promoting active, physical play. We are proud to partner with an innovative children’s platform like Yoto.”

The co-created audio cards will be available from June 2021.
