University Games bolsters sales and marketing teams

University Games and The Lagoon Group has made two key appointments, whose experience will help grow the sales and marketing departments.

University Games has welcomed Victoria Reece, as marketing assistant. The company says the appointment is part of an ongoing business strategy to develop its strength and depth in the marketing department.

Marketing director, Gemma Lewington, says this is a pivotal time for the business, and welcomed Victoria to University Games: “Victoria is a bright and enthusiastic individual and we are very excited to have her as part of our team. She comes to us from Viegli UK Ltd, where she was heavily involved with website development and asset creation as well as a wealth of campaign management across both B2C and B2B.”

Meanwhile, Liz Price has joined the company as New Territory manager for the Midlands and North England. This key, high performing geographic area for the business will see Liz bring with her a wealth of specialist knowledge following a decade of retail experience. For over six years, she has specialised in toys, games and licensed products.

Liz will be a key part of the sales team, reporting to sales director, Mark Jones. Speaking of her appointment, she said: “University Games is innovative, forward thinking and passionate and I’m really enjoying being part of this dynamic team.”

University Games recently relocated the company’s offices to a new site in Royston, Hertfordshire. The new, more modern office will allow for further expansion as the business looks to the future, allowing greater flexibility to develop and grow the business over the coming years.
