Football and netball teams invited to enter Hasbro charity tournaments

Published on: 18th May 2022

Making a welcome return in 2022, all monies raised from the Hasbro Football and Netball Tournaments will go to support The Toy Trust.

The Hasbro Charity 7-a-side Football and Netball tournaments will make a return this year on Friday 8th July, at Brunel University Sports Grounds, Uxbridge. Teams from companies across the toy trade are invited to sign up now to secure a place in this industry-wide event.

The tournaments, organised by Hasbro, are now in their 8th year. Past events have been much enjoyed and raised in excess of £8,000 for The Toy Trust on average. The event creates a fantastic atmosphere for all those that take part, and over 20 toy industry companies are expected on the day. Everyone is welcome and the tournament is open to mixed football and netball teams.

The sporting extravaganza will start with registration from 11.30am and the games will begin at 12pm.

The cost per team in either event is £350, which includes a BBQ lunch for all. All money raised through the event will go to support the industry charity – The Toy Trust and the many children’s charities it will be supporting throughout 2022.

Founded by the BTHA, the Toy Trust exists to raise money predominantly from the toy industry, its suppliers and friends, and distribute the money raised to charities helping disadvantaged and disabled children within the UK and abroad.

If you would like to join this event to raise money for a fantastic cause, please contact Donna.crook@partners.hasbro.com.
