SmartGames unveils latest brain game Grizzly Gears

Published on: 21st September 2022

Grizzly Gears is a brand-new puzzling adventure from one of the leaders in multi-level logic games, SmartGames.

SmartGames is expanding its ever-growing portfolio with the launch of a new brain teaser game with an autumnal feel – just in time for the cooler months tucked up inside. Grizzly Gears is a single-player brain teaser, with plenty of twists and turns as players meander through the rotating trees on a mission to guide the characters through the forest unscathed – but they need to beware of the bear. This tabletop puzzle game will keep players on their toes thanks to a literal twist in the game design – no player is out of the woods until all 80 challenges have been solved.

Commenting on the launch of Grizzly Gears, Karen Clarke, UK brand director at Smart Toys and Games said: “We are very excited for the launch of Grizzly Gears. It certainly has an autumnal feel, so is the perfect game to get stuck in to whilst snuggling up on the sofa during the cosy months ahead. Thanks to the cute figurines, the game is very tactile and appealing to all ages, which is sure to keep little ones, and adults alike, occupied for hours.”

Suitable for ages seven plus, Grizzly Gears includes an engaging game board, nine rotating puzzle pieces, six charming figurines (including a lumberjack, bunny, and deer to name a few) and the iconic SmartGames booklet, bursting with 80 challenges and solutions.

As with all SmartGames products, challenges range from easy to difficult. and will keep players busy for hours. One of the easier challenges will see younger players reunite mummy bear with baby bear, but the race soon picks up to get out of the woods. Stimulating many cognitive skills such as flexible thinking, problem solving, spatial insight and concentration, it will also have minds, young and old, thinking ahead and planning their next move.
