Zinc launches big-wheeled Urban 230 Pro Scooter

Published on: 17th February 2023

The big-wheeled Urban 230 Pro Scooter from Zinc Sports comes with a one-click folding mechanism and weighs just 5.7kg.

Zinc Sports, part of Hy-Pro International, has launched its latest big-wheeled scooter, the Urban 230 Pro Scooter, boasting front suspension and two highly durable 230mm wheels with high quality chrome bearings to give a smooth and bump free ride.

The Urban 230 Pro provides parents with a long-term investment as its size can be adjusted to their child’s growth, meaning it can be used for a number of years, while the big wheels are equipped to handle rougher terrain and offer a smoother, more even ride.

For use on and off road, the scooter comes equipped with front and rear mudguards to keep the wheels clean and free of obstructions and features an easy-to-use rear footbrake and handbrake to provide safe stopping power.

With adjustable height options from 85-97cm, it can be used by children from the age of six and upwards, and thanks to a robust and lightweight frame which weighs in at just 5.7kg and handles with a one click folding mechanism, it is easy to carry, store and transport. The scooter retails for £115.99.

The Urban 230 Pro Scooter launch comes hot on the heels of Zinc’s launch of the UK’s first seated e-scooter eartlier this month. Boasting many of the features you would expect from a bike including a seat, a frame and mudguards, the Zinc Venture takes all of the benefits of a bike and puts them into an e-scooter.
