The newly appointed Tim Kratochvil will head up the growing German agency, Generation Media GMBH, operating out of Hamburg. Joining from his stints at Pilot and OMD Germany, Tim brings with him close to 15 years of experience in the advertising industry.

Dean Weller, CEO of Generation Media, said: “We launched a dedicated German business in 2021 after seeing a real appetite for our services across the European markets. Since then, the German business has gone from strength to strength and with our client portfolio growing, the hire of Tim has come at a perfect time. His knowledge of the business and the German market makes him a great and essential addition to the team.”

Tim added: “Earlier this month I had the pleasure of meeting lots of friendly faces at Generation Media’s annual conference, KidsCon 23, where I presented on the state of the German market in comparison to the UK market. The pandemic has accelerated the changes in the German Media Landscape and kids are chasing content cross-platform now more than ever before. It was a brilliant day and I look forward to sharing my learnings with our amazing portfolio of clients.”

Generation Media delivers campaigns on a global scale through its local headquarters in London and Hamburg, alongside its purpose-built network of international agency partners. Founded 15 years ago by CEO Dean Weller, the agency is a leading independent specialist in communications to Children, Young People and Families globally.
