Basic Fun! UK celebrated a unique collaboration with the British Garden Centres Group to celebrate Care Bears Share Your Care Day.
This year’s campaign is the culmination of months of planning events, costume character visits, influencer partnerships, POS materials and more, to bring Share Your Care Day to 30 of the group’s independently run garden centres nationwide. Many locations carried life-size standees, situated near to Care Bears product displays, whilst colouring sheets were also supplied and Care Bears Lil’ Besties giveaways held for visiting families to enter.
Three of the major stores – Brigg, Wolseley Bridge and Bridge North – also enjoyed Care Bears character visits. These extra-special Care Bears meet and greet events attracted hundreds of Care Bears fans, who lined up to have their photos taken with either Grumpy Bear or Cheer Bear. Among the visitors were family influencers who shared their day with their followers on social media.
Each year, on 9th September, the Care Bears celebrate Share Your Care Day: a globally recognised holiday dedicated to spreading kindness, compassion and the spirit of caring. On this special day, the Care Bears aim to inspire individuals of all ages to embrace the Care Bears values of love, friendship and togetherness by engaging in acts of sharing and caring, supporting charitable causes and connecting with their communities to make a positive impact.
