The deal with the BBC will see the latest Octonauts spin off series from Sony Pictures Television Kids air on CBeebies from October 16th.

Sony Pictures Television – Kids (SPT – Kids) has announced that the BBC has acquired the UK rights to the latest season of Octonauts spin-off series, Octonauts: Above & Beyond.

The deal will see new 52 x 11’ episodes of Octonauts: Above & Beyond available on CBeebies and BBC iplayer from 16th October 2023, bringing new adventures for the Octonauts as they continue to explore dynamic landscapes, experience new climates, rescue animals and protect the land they live on.

Earlier seasons of Octonauts: Above & Beyond are also available on Cbeebies and BBC iplayer along with the market leading kids’ blocks of Super RTL in Germany and, from January 2024, ABC in Australia.

Octonauts first zoomed onto screens in 2010. Thirteen years on, the hit global franchise continues to entertain children around the world – testament to its superb storytelling, compelling characters and educational narratives which enable it to cross all cultural divides and remain as relevant today as ever.

Extending the connection fans have with the show beyond the screen, global master toy partner Moose Toys offers an extensive toy line that includes figures, playsets, vehicles and plush while experiential partners including Merlin Entertainments have brought Octonauts Sea Life activations to life in the UK, US, Asia and ANZ.
