Character Kidz Big Weekend saw Kidfluencers come together to unbox their favourite Character products from the upcoming season.
Character Options is still counting the views gained across multiple social platforms following the Character Kidz Big Weekend event, which was held on 24th-26th July. The three-day virtual extravaganza has been labelled a success by all that took part.
The nation’s Kidfluencers came together to unbox their favourite Character products from the upcoming season. Over 80 videos were created, all highlighting new innovative toys such as Shimmer ‘N’ Sparkle InstaGlam, Laser Battle Hunters, Squeakee The Balloon Dog, Gotta Go Flamingo from Little Live Pets, and the wacky family game, PenSilly. Continual interactive events further encouraged participation driving engagement and healthy interaction across the channels and between the influencers themselves.
In addition to over five hours of YouTube content, TikTok and Instagram showcased shorter form content further ramping up the views and reach of the campaign. To date over 3m Instagram impressions, 100,000 TikTok views and 1m YouTube views have been calculated, with further content going live all the time and more views being gained every hour.
Mark Hunt, marketing manager at Character Options, commented: “After the buzz of last year’s event, this year we went virtual and it has been a huge success. The kids were able to really get creative at home and we let them take the lead as they know what works well with their audience.”
