Funko appoints EMEA softlines sales manager

Newly appointed Rich Smith hopes to amplify Funko’s softlines business across EMEA.

Funko has announced the appointment of Rich Smith as softlines sales manager EMEA, incorporating Funko’s Loungefly range. Rich will be joining the team at Funko’s London offices.

With over 15 years’ experience working in licensing and accessories at Bioworld International and Icon Live, Rich brings a wealth of experience to the team which will amplify Funko’s softlines business across EMEA. Since its acquisition by Funko a year ago, the Loungefly range has continued to perform strongly across the region.

Rich commented: “Now is the perfect time to be talking to retail partners about the future plans for the Loungefly brand and the other softlines categories, building on our existing success. I’m delighted and excited to join Funko, and I look forward to seeing what impact I can make.”
