Hamleys customers first to get hands on 30th anniversary Beanie Babies

Published on: 30th May 2023

A 5-day exclusivity agreement means Hamleys will be the first UK retailer to offer the limited edition Valentino, Bongo and Bones Beanie Babies.

Hamleys will be the first UK retailer to welcome limited edition 30th Anniversary Ty Beanie Babies. The original Valentino, Bongo and Bones will be available exclusively at its Regent Street store from 31st May, 2023. Hamleys recommend Ty fans to visit as early as possible to be amongst the first to own one of these iconic, relaunched editions.

Hamleys will only have a limited number of commemorative toys exclusively available, 50 of which will have rare, limited edition collectors’ tags. Whether a collector or not, the launch is a fantastic opportunity to own a super-rare keepsake for years to come. The collection will retail at £7 per toy.

Following the five day exclusivity period, the Original Ty Beanie Babies with classic Ty tags will be available in UK retailers nationwide.

To celebrate the launch, Hamleys is also installing a dedicated window at both its Regent Street and Westfield White City stores.

“Hamleys is delighted to be the first retailer to bring the 30th anniversary Ty Beanie Babies collection to our customers,” said Sumeet Yadav, CEO, Hamleys. “We have always strived to offer the latest and most sought-after toys, including limited editions, and this exclusive partnership with Ty further strengthens our commitment to providing a magical and unforgettable toy shopping experience for our visitors.”

Ty Inc. has been teasing the comeback of the three original Beanie Babies on social media, with fans of the collectible plush expressing huge excitement at the prospect of adding new plush to their Beanie Babies collections.
