Hasbro reveals new Beyblade X

Hasbro has revealed Beyblade X, a re-imagination of the popular early 2000s classic with new and improved animations and experiences.

Beyblade XFollowing the Beyblade brand’s success in Japan, the new Beyblade X range will allow bladers to step into a world of nostalgia as they battle friends and enter the new world of Beybalde.

The Beyblade X Xtreme Battle Set is the starter kit, filled with all fans need to begin playing and compete. It includes the Beystadium, two right-spinning tops and two launchers with ripcords. Available summer 2024, it is suitable for ages eight years and up and retails at £44.99.

The Xtreme Beystadium arena and right-spin tops feature the Accelerator Gear System to level up the game. When the gear of the top engages the rail of the stadium, it can super-accelerate into an Xtreme Dash around the Battle Zone.

The three interchangeable blades, ratchets and bit layers of Beyblade X tops are easy to assemble and reassemble, with a quick twist and two clicks. Fans can use the two launchers to unleash the Dagger Dran 4-60R Attack Type and Tusk Mammoth 3-60T Balance Type tops. They can also mix and match the interchangeable pieces of other Beyblade X tops to create their own Bey. Other Beyblade tops are sold separately, subject to availability.

Fans can also take their Beyblade skills to the next level and compete in digital battles by scanning the code on the tops to begin battling in the Beyblade X app.

Beyblade X with Starter Packs includes one top and one launcher (Beystadium required, sold separately). Fans can launch into battle or reconfigure the interchangeable blade, ratchet and bit of this Starter Pack with those of other Beyblade X tops to create their own Bey. These Hasbro Beyblade toys, with authentic Takara Tomy die-cast metal tops, are also available summer 2024 and suitable for ages eight years and up, retailing for £9.99.
