KD Toys appoints Awori Communications

Published on: 12th November 2018

The appointment is to bolster the marketing and PR programme in the UK.

Working closely with the KD Toys UK team, Awori Comms will help drive the company’s mission: to provide children with educational and fun products through the best in class innovation, safety and technology.

Justin Clasby, marketing manager for KD Toys, commented: “It’s an exciting time at KD Toys and we welcome the established expertise of Awori Comms. We will be elevating the marketing of our product range to the next level with a comprehensive and strategic PR programme. From the stand out pitch that was delivered, the appointment was an easy decision. Having previously worked with Sharday on spearheading Lego campaigns, I know that we are in excellent hands.”

Sharday Awori, CEO and founder of Awori Communications added: “I am really thrilled to be working with pioneers in kids toy technology. I can’t wait to get stuck in delivering top notch results for Justin and the UK team. The KD Toys portfolio is a dream to work for and we are already crafting creative and innovative ways to keep the brands front of mind with the target consumers.”

Awori Comms will be hitting the ground running, implementing a comprehensive press and influencer relations campaign in the lead up to the key Christmas trading period, with a focus on the award-winning Kurio Tablet range. The campaign will also see involvement from the company’s charity partner Internet Matters, to further support its mission to ensure high standards of safety online in kids technology and toys.
