UK educational toy company Learning Resources has teamed up with BAFTA award-winning EduTuber and TV presenter, Maddie Moate, to highlight the benefits of learning coding skills through play with Botley 2.0, the Coding Robot.

The activity will feature on Maddie’s Instagram account from Monday 14th September 2020, with supporting activity on Learning Resources’ social media and digital channels, and forms part of the company’s Back to Learning campaign launched in time for the start of the new school year.

Maddie Moate explains, “The computing curriculum in schools ensures most school-age children experience some form of coding education in the classroom. There’s no reason for parents to be fearful of coding, even if they don’t have first-hand experience of it themselves. I’ve teamed up with Learning Resources to outline the benefits of learning to code and to share tips on how parents can incorporate some fun coding activities at home.”

“We’re delighted to have Maddie working with us to show parents and kids how easy it is to introduce STEM and coding skills through fun, hands-on play with Botley 2.0″, adds Simon Tomlinson, head of marketing EMEA. “As she puts Botley 2.0 through its paces, Maddie’s engaging approach and content makes STEM learning and screen-free coding approachable and fun.”
