Merry Christmas from the Toy World team!

Published on: 22nd December 2022

The Toy World team will be taking a break over Christmas and the New Year – see you on 3rd January, when our newsflash service will resume.

With the bumper January issue of Toy World – our biggest ever – now at the printer, and the final newsflash of the year sent out, all that remains is to wish all our readers a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

The Toy World team would like to thank its readers for all the support and positive feedback it has received this year and is very grateful to each and every one of you. The toy industry has weathered a series of new challenges and many ups and downs over the last 12 months, but we’re glad to have been there throughout it all alongside you. If this industry was easy, it wouldn’t be packed full of so many brilliant and determined individuals!

The team will be taking a well-earned break for Christmas and the New Year and will be back working from 3rd January. There will be no further newsletters or Blogs until then.

As you will be aware, we’ll be diving straight in to 2023 with work on our February issue. As well as all the usual news and exclusive articles, this edition will include a category feature on sustainable/eco-friendly toys and initiatives, shining a light on the latest product launches that reflect the sustainability ethos. Plus, we will be highlighting the companies exhibiting at the 2023 Spring Fair show that are of interest to toy retailers. There’s a tight turnaround time in order that the issue can be published before the February event; it will be available in good time for buyers to research and plan their visit to the NEC, so don’t delay in liaising with the team if you’re getting involved.

The bumper January edition of Toy World will be out early in 2023, then we’re looking forward to the trade fair season and catching up with readers old and new.

Have a very merry time, happy holidays to all, and we’ll see you next year!

Team Toy World xx
