New Paddington title to launch from Redan

Published on: 7th April 2021

The Adventures of Paddington will join the Fun To Learn range, in a partnership between Redan and Copyrights Group.

Redan’s popular Fun To Learn portfolio of licensed pre-school titles includes FTL Peppa Pig, FTL Friends, FTL Favourites and most recently FTL Bing. Introducing a standalone title with a character as iconic and as well-loved as Paddington marks an exciting time for the publisher.

Redan MD, Julie Jones, commented: “With our wealth of experience in creating content for early learners, we feel confident we’ve put together a product that will delight the new generation of Paddington Bear fans as well as their grown-ups.”

Fun To Learn The Adventures of Paddington is a fun, bright and educational magazine aimed at children aged 3-6 years old. Each issue will contain 36 pages filled with a stimulating mix of stickers, stories, crafts, recipes, a themed 12-page workbook, games, posters and cut-out activities. Published under Redan’s trusted Fun To Learn branding, content is aimed at nurturing key learning skills and follows the National Curriculum Early Years Foundation Stage.

Julie Jones added: “Fun To Learn The Adventures of Paddington perfectly complements the charm and humour of The Adventures of Paddington TV series, by extending the escapades of the lovable bear into entertaining and educational activities in the magazine. Wholesome traits associated with Paddington such as kindness, family and friendship resonate through the magazine. Tips and notes for grown-ups reinforce these themes by encouraging them to take time to journey through the activities together with their young children, to help them grow, learn and develop.”

The magazine launches on 7th April 2021. As well as being sold via the usual retailers it is also available online for single issues and subscriptions.
