Big Potato eyes further international expansion

Published on: 16th May 2019

With games in 28 different countries, the Shoreditch-based party game company will be present at Distoy to showcase five new products.

Games from Big Potato have proven to be equally popular across the globe as they are in the UK, with best-sellers including Colourbrain, the colourful trivia game, the triple-award winning social deduction game The Chameleon, and Weird Things Humans Search For, the internet search party game, all making their mark in other territories.

With plenty more countries yet to enjoy the company’s games portfolio, Big Potato is always on the lookout for more international distributors to work with.

Emmanuelle de Lestapis, head of international sales, will be at Distoy from the 28th of May to show off five new Big Potato games. The hero of the lineup is 20-Second Showdown, a fast and frantic family game that’s packed with 400 different challenges. Emmanuelle hopes that Distoy will be every bit as successful for the company as Nuremberg Toy Fair was earlier this year.

Emmanuelle commented: “Last year went really well for us in terms of developing our games in new markets. We found great partners that we’re proud to work with, and I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store for us. We had a positive reaction towards our new games at Nuremberg, so I’m really looking forward to Distoy.”

If you’d like to see what the company has been working on this year, you’ll find it in Room 302 at Distoy in St. James’ Court Hotel. To book an appointment with Emmanuelle, send her an email at emmanuelle@bigpotato.co.uk.
