Brainstorm partners with Aardman on new licensed range

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Wallace & Gromit, while the new Shaun the Sheep Movie is slated for release in October.

Brainstorm has announced that it is teaming up with Aardman to create two licensed Torch & Projectors for autumn/winter 2019.

With a raft of new programming planned for 2020, and the forthcoming Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon slated for an October release in the UK, Shaun the Sheep is still as popular as ever with fans old and new. The magic of Shaun the Sheep can now be projected onto bedroom walls thanks to Brainstorm’s Shaun the Sheep Torch & Projector. The handheld projector features 24 colour slides, allowing children to project images up to one metre wide on walls and ceilings, focusing them with the lens head. Perfect for a bedside table, the project also makes for a cool little torch.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of infamous duo Wallace & Gromit, so Brainstorm will also create a unique Wallace & Gromit Torch & Projector. This is not the first time Brainstorm has added licensed properties to its portfolio, having enjoyed success with its Natural History Museum Torch & Projectors.

Debra Tiffany, marketing manager at Brainstorm, said: “Brainstorm is delighted to be teaming up with Aardman. It’s hard to find two more iconic, more instantly recognisable properties. Aardman is of course fantastically creative, so it’s great to add its special magic to one of our most popular pocket money lines.”
