Norton PR wins Best Children’s Products PR & Marketing Specialists award

Published on: 15th July 2021

Norton PR, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, received the Media Innovator Award in what its CEO has described as the “most challenging period” in its history.

There are double celebrations for Norton PR, with the agency scooping the title of Media Innovator Awards’ Best Children’s Products PR & Marketing Specialists for the UK in the company’s 30th anniversary year. The agency represents a number of clients across the toy industry including DKB Toys & Distribution and Craft Buddy.

After being nominated by multiple companies, the Media Innovator in-house research team created a case file which included a variety of information such as brand history, services, products, articles, social media, presence within the industry and testimonials. The judging panel awarded Norton PR with the accolade based on an extensive list of criteria such as client dedication, innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, customer feedback and business performance.

“This has been the most challenging period during our 30-year history, so to receive an award of this calibre comes as a huge boost to our agency and is recognition of our dedication to our clients and the industry we love and have become an integral part of,” commented Tony Norton, chief executive of Norton PR.

“We have been lucky enough to win multiple awards over the years but to be nominated by our clients and peers means a huge amount to the Norton team. We are about to launch our new website highlighting our evolution from humble beginnings back in 1991 working on the Captain Scarlet range with Nick Austin and Alan Bennie in the fledgling days of Vivid Imaginations, to being the best performing agency globally for Lego during our 12 years with them.”

He added: “New and exciting client challenges and partnerships are leading us into the fashion, FMCG and publishing industries, but along the way we have worked with some of the most inspirational people and companies in the industry. We are lucky to have both new and long-standing clients who have been with us through a lot over the years and I extend a big thank you to all for your continued belief in our skills, creativity and ability to deliver above and beyond any brief. Bring on the next 30 years.”
