PlayMonster announces collaboration with Disney for activity and games lines

Published on: 8th July 2021

The collaboration will see PlayMonster extend 5 Second Rule, Ring It On and Colorforms with popular Disney and Pixar characters.

The best-selling 5 Second Rule brand will see the introduction of the 5 Second Rule Disney Edition, where players will be challenged with questions such as naming three Disney dogs under the pressure of 5 seconds twisting down. In the fast-paced game, players have to ‘Think Fast and Shout it Out!’ – and the cards feature topics that multiple generations within the family can enjoy together.

Ring It On! Disney Edition challenges players to race to find matches for cards by setting down and picking up cards quickly, watching out another player discarding a card they need. When a player completes a four-of-a-kind with a favourite Disney character, such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Olaf and more, they ring the bell to let everyone know. Fun for families to play together, the game is designed for 2 to 4 players, aged six and up.

In addition to celebrating Colorforms 70th anniversary with a special edition, PlayMonster will be adding titles for Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story, Disney’s Frozen, Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse in retro form. With over 50 repositionable vinyl pieces per set, Colorforms allows kids to craft adventures for imaginative play and is suitable for ages three and up.

“We’re so thrilled to collaborate with Disney on our classic games like 5 Second Rule and Colorforms as well as exciting new games like Ring It On,” said Hollie Holmes, global head of Licensing at PlayMonster. “We could not be more pleased about the continued growth of our strong licensing programmes that impact business in a meaningful way.”

PlayMonster will confirm the release date of these products shortly.
