Ravensburger welcomes Adam Sheppard

Published on: 26th January 2021

In his role as eCommerce Analyst, Adam Sheppard will use his extensive eCommerce experience to help drive growth at the company.

Joining the company late last month as eCommerce Analyst, Adam Sheppard brings a wealth of eCommerce experience to the toy and games industry. He previously worked for Profitero, an eCommerce analytics company specializing in working with brands, manufacturers and agencies to support growth on key online channels such as Amazon.

At Profitero, Adam developed a particular interest in the toys and games sector while working to support clients in such areas. When an opportunity suited to his skill set and expertise arose at Ravensburger, he was delighted to take on the role.

Ravensburger’s head of sales, Derek Scott commented: “I am delighted to welcome Adam to the Ravensburger team. Adam is joining us at an exciting time for the business. We are seeing continued strong growth and his analytics experience will be instrumental as we build on this momentum.”

In the recent Toy of the Year Awards, Ravensburger was recognised by the Toy Retailer’s Association as a standout supplier in the games and puzzles category, which was a key performer in the overall toy market in 2020. The TRA noted that the category topped the growth (year on year) performance, with various suppliers driving this increase as well as helping educate and entertain children, and highlighted Orchard, Gibsons Games, Asmodee, Hasbro and Tomy (Drumond Park) alongside overall category winner Ravensburger.
