Richard Venner leaves Hornby to pursue fresh opportunities

Published on: 18th January 2018

Richard, previously Hornby’s head of brand, is now looking for new opportunities within the toy industry.

Richard has left Hornby with immediate effect, by mutual agreement.

Before his role at Hornby Richard had previously held positions at HTI, where he was global senior brand manager , and Vivid Imaginations, where he was senior brand manager, Crayola Division.

Richard is now seeking a new and challenging opportunity, within an international environment, where he can utilise his commercial experience, creative problem solving skills, energy, and experience of business/brand/sales growth, plus personal and professional development skills.

Speaking exclusively to Toy World, Richard commented: “I’m keen to continue working within the toy industry, putting the knowledge I’ve gained over the last 12 years in marketing, sales and product development to use. With it being the height of the toy trade season, I will be making an appearance at Toy Fair to walk the show and meet up with acquaintances and recruiters.”

Richard will be at Toy Fair on Tuesday 23rd and potentially Thursday 24th. To set up a meeting, please call 07989 417342 or email
