The Mattel portfolio is used to showcase shopping at Smyths, with a little help from Oscar, whether in-store, online or click and collect.

Smyths Toys Superstores has unveiled its new Shop Your Way advert in partnership with Mattel. The ad follows Oscar on a new adventure through Smyths Toys, showcasing the retailer’s home delivery and click & collect services.

The new Shop Your Way campaign sees some of Oscar’s favourite toys come to life at Smyths Toys Superstores. Oscar is first seen on his way with a delivery for Barbie at her DreamHouse, then has to hurry to meet a Jurassic World dinosaur for a click & collect order. As the advert unfolds, Oscar goes on to jump from the WWE Slambulance and race with Hot Wheels and Thomas the Tank Engine to deliver the customer’s order in time.

Smyths Toys offers a range of flexible shopping options including home delivery, at stores nationwide, and click & collect within two hours when orders are placed by 3pm. The launch of the Shop Your Way ad is supported with an integrated 360 marketing campaign including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Website and Email banners.

Sinead Byrne, joint head of Marketing at Smyths Toys, said: “We are delighted to showcase our click and collect and home delivery services with our new Shop Your Way advert. Oscar gives a helping hand along with some of his favourite toys, and we hope kids and adults alike enjoy watching.”

Eirian Jones, head of Customer Marketing at Mattel added: “We’re thrilled to have partnered with Smyths to bring the Shop Your Way advert to life. The Mattel portfolio is used to showcase all aspects of shopping at Smyths – with a little help from Oscar of course. Whether that is in-store, online or click and collect, Oscar has it covered. Keeping play at the heart of this advert, we hope it will be loved by families and children watching”.
