The Entertainer announces temporary closure of all stores

Published on: 23rd March 2020

All stores will be temporarily closed from 5pm today due to the coronavirus outbreak.

As a result of Covid-19 and recent government advice, The Entertainer has announced its decision to close all stores from 5pm today (23rd March). The company released the following statement:

“To all our customers,

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support as we all navigate our way through the unchartered waters of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We have tried to keep our stores open for you as long as possible as the need to help keep families upbeat and entertained during such a challenging time has been more important than ever.

We’re sad to inform you our stores will be temporarily closing at 5pm on Monday 23rd March. We have taken this decision with a very heavy heart but the safety and wellbeing of our employees and customers is our priority.

For the past 40 years our mission at The Entertainer has been to fill every childhood with wonder and we believe it’s more important now than ever to bring that wonder to children’s lives at a time of such uncertainty.

We are committed to continuing to fulfil this mission and serving our customers on TheToyShop.com where we’ll be running some incredible promotions over the next few weeks.

Please stay in touch with us on our social media channels, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter where we’ll be sharing with you lots of ideas to help keep the family entertained.

Take care of yourselves, please support your communities and neighbours as we are very much ‘in it together’.

We look forward to welcoming you back into our stores soon.

The Entertainer team.”
