The February issue of Toy World is out now

Published on: 23rd January 2020

Toy World Magazine’s first ever February issue is now available to read online.

The February flip-cover issue of Toy World features a preview of the upcoming Spring Fair show in Birmingham, including comment from Yvette Marshall, head of Play & Tech at Spring Fair, and a look at the new products that will be showcased at the event.

Always looking keep its finger firmly on the pulse of the UK toy industry, this month’s Talking Shop aims to provide a reflection of the current mood from a variety of retailers up and down the country. We asked one simple question – How was Christmas for you? – and while one retailer declined to take part, stating that ‘they would have to be too negative’, all others reported a positive trading period and an optimistic outlook coming into 2020.

Ahead of Toy Fair New York, Toy World caught up with Marian Bossard, EVP global market events, The Toy Association, and Steve Pasierb, president & CEO, to find out how the US market fared in 2019 and what visitors can expect at this year’s show.

This issue also contains the latest licensing, marketing and industry news, plus Allegedy, the NDP Group’s monthly column, and Viewpoint pieces from David Ripley, Ruth Clement and Simon McIntosh.
